Problem.. bike doesn't want to idle! akH!

Alright. So i found someone to buy my bike!:o"yay". Okay, so he wants it stock . He's an older guy who doesnt care for my DJ kit and Megabomb / Q4. Therefore I have been stuck with carb duties once again . So... I have taken my Jet Kit out, turned the fuel screw a little over 1 full turn (two half turns) and now the bike doesn't want to idle. I tried messingwith the idle screw, now I feel like I'm way off. Can't find my service manual, so I need to ask somebody here, Which way do you turn the idle screw to turn it up? Please be specific!

Anyways, bike wont idle, I choked it and ran it above 3xxx and +, and the bike is running fine, just wont sit under 2000 rpms. Could it be something else perhaps? I was pretty sure I got a good seal on the carb, and it wants to go, ful peformace so that shouldn't bea problem. Worst comes to worst, I have a Dynojet Stage 1 kit for a 2009 KLX, could I just put it back in and get it working again? Ah, maybe I've messed witht he idle screw too much already.. but IF i threw the kit back inthere, *the thing starts up way better re-jetted as I'm sure you know, what shoud my fuel mix screw be at for stock header/pipe?

Thanks guys, need to get this thing rolling before next monday, and I worke veryday. Please help me!!! :D

turn the mixture screw all the way in until it is lightly seated, then turn out 2-2.5 full turns.

You turn the idle screw in to maked the bike idle faster.

so 1 1/4 turns wasnt enough, huh. FACK! I hate that damn carburetor boot... thing has haunted me for the MORE than DOZEN times I have taken my carburetor out. I have owned KLX's since only May, and have taken my carb out more than 15 times. Can't wait til this nightmare's over!

Can't you get a little bit driver in there to adjust the mix screw without taking the carb off?

On the idle, clockwise on the knob turns the idle higher.
