Reminds me of the time I...... well here is the post from my only time the bike went down. It happened last year.

"Yea About three weeks ago I was visiting an old guy I know that builds hot rods. I got to know him when I wired his new shop, anyway I always ride my bike down to see what he's up to, and that day he asked me if I wanted to drive his 32 Ford Roadster, and I was uh YEA!!!! So we piled in and man that's the first time I wished I was 5 ft tall, my knees were up to my chest. Anyway when we got back we were talking and all of the sudden my bike fell over in his driveway (new blacktop) and I went over and picked up the bike and was like what the?, when I looked down there was a 3 inch hole in the blacktop. we dug out what usable pieces we could, and filled it with gravel and pressed and hammered the stuff we took out and you couldn't even tell where it was, and no damage to the bike, good old Acerbis handguards. So I decided to carry my stand block I made. Here are a couple of pics."

The Ron Ayers website does not provide pictures for OEM parts (the part number I posted above). They are genuine Kawasaki parts, but cheaper than your dealer. I've used Ron Ayers a couple of times for bits and pieces, and my 300 cylinder. They're not fast, but they have the best prices I've found on OEM parts.

$50 is pretty steep for a little piece of plastic. If the rest of the casing is OK and its just the lens, you might want to see if you can salvage the plastic lense cover out of an old flashlight or something and glue it in there in its place. Just use some waterproof rubbery glue like for aquariums and it'll still be waterproof.
