Pro-Tapers installed and a few other items

I got my Pro-Taper KX-HI bars installed today, one of the easiest mods yet. I didnt even have to disassamble the throttle, just loosened the bolts and sliped it right off. The grip came off easy too, no cutting whatsoever. While I had the bars off I installed some fork air relief valves. The new pro-grips are sweet, definately softer and feels great. I also installed a set of dirt skins on the forks. They are the kind that have velcro so they are easy to put on. Its nice too because you can easily remove them to wash the dirt that builds up after use. I didnt change the handgaurds yet, I havent made up my mind on what brand/style.

I think Im finally catching up to you guys.

And I also put some old school uni-trak decals on the swingarm. I know it just for looks but I like it :D

those uni-trak decals look killer for ole time sake. i remember distinctly those on my kx80. pro tapers are sweet too. if i keep the bike, those or some renthals will be on my bike. oh yeah, i like the rear sprocket too. i should've gotten a renthal.

Thanks guys

Ya those decals are old style, but they still advertise it as uni-trak so I figured what the hell. Now if my dual star mirror would just get here I could get rid of those dumbo mirrors and maybe actually see whats behind me [sm=lol.gif]

I found that using the dual star mirrors in combination with one folding mirror on the left hand side that can be folded down during dirt riding is a great balance between loosing the two "frisbees" and having a more functional view of cars from over the left shoulder....

See thats what I like about your setup Dave, its functional and looks good. The dual stars must be popular because they have been sold out for over a month. Everytime I call them he says to call back in another 2 weeks....its frustrating...lol

LOL,

Yeah that should help hold you over.

Also, the way I have it set up, the right mirror doubles as a larger kill switch since pushing it in depresses the kill switch behind it..;)
