Plugging air injection, looking for reed valve cover plate....??

I'm going to remove the air injection system on my 2009 KLX250. So, looking for a plate cover to plug it the right way. I don't want to do a half assed job and cap the hose nipple or just plug the hose. Does anyone make a plate cover for this so it's a nice clean job? I'm not able to make one for a month or so until I get to my buddy's shop. Tried searching here and google and came up empty.

bill blue, the guy that makes the 351 kit also makes exactly what you are looking for.

Here's his website bandbcyclerstoration.com
Home Page

I don't see it listed separately, but I know he used to sell it that way. It's pictued in the photo of the 351 kit.

I think you can get them through krieger as well.

Yes, I got mine from Mark Krieger. SS with gasket. Can't really review it because its a metal plate...with a gasket.

Presently I have one left, $12.00 with gasket and postage within the U.S. I was going to use it on my bike, but will get a couple more cut. Stainless steel, nothing special, but then you can't really see it up under there anyway.

I hope you don't object to plugs/caps too much. You're still going to have to cap the vacuum outlet on the carb and the outlet on the airbox.

I'm thinking a good hardware store might have plugs to fit the air box, an automotive store a cap for the vacuum fitting... if one wants to go for the finished look. Otherwise a bolt clamped in a piece of tubing will work.
