plastic trade
Anyone wants to swap white rear side covers and fork guards for black ones? Just priced out how much it would cost new and 250 bucks is a bit high with the plastics on now still very good

Consider doing a wrap, get white vehicle sign wrap material from a sign shop. Without any printing It shouldn't be too costly.
Other option use Krylon Fusion paint for the side panels. It seems to work decently on the flexible plastics and can always be reapplied. I think the fork guards are harder, more like ABS so they can actually be sanded and painted. But I'd do the wrap. It is stretchable and with some heat from a blow dryer it can be fitted pretty well. |
I did a wrap on my bike a few years ago and it's holding up just fine, even after a few falls.

i did plastic dip on the front panel just looking if the white panels are available before i paint. Not really a fan of any wraps that i found yet.

got used white ones coming, I'd do a plan white vinyl but i know ima be dropping it so its not gonna hold up very long with me

That's essentially what the white number plates are on most MX and enduro racers - vinyl. They usually have a seriously heavy clear over the white and any printing compared to most car wraps.
