Photobucket

Anyone found a good solution for the mess they've created. Within this site there are many processes documented with photos, some of which are now deleted because Photobucket cut the cord.

I've not yet heard of a fix.

If you right click on the image and open it in a new tab/window you can still view the image on photobucket's site. Clunky, but at least you can still see the picture.

Thanks wildcard!

This is one reason I've never used a pic hosting site. Screw 'em. If a site won't let you post pics from your own source, I just don't participate with pics.

Whats going on with photo bucket? I looked at one of my old threads and it still has pics.

Edit..Hmmmm ok this was supposed to be one of the embarrassing pictures i have of TNC. :)

Hello Dan,
Doing well and enjoying the summer, but unfortunately not riding much this year. My riding buddies are younger and are raising their families now and have given up the sport. I did get to see the eclipse in totality which was awesome! How about yourself?

Dan?...I thought you were dead...LOL! I've been doing great. Still doing the regular Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, and Big Bend Texas area rides each year. Just got through doing a massive bike service involving every pivot, steering head, engine service, etc. for the next trip...Utah after Labor Day. Still enjoying this bike and find it hard to justify getting something else if I'm not racing enduro's anymore.

Went on Medicare last year, so I have more money each month since Obamacare isn't stealing my motorcycle money...LOL!

On the Photobucket deal, surely you guys have heard about them upping fees and denying access over additional charges...or something to that effect. I've heard more about it over on ar15.com. Photobucket has made a lot of people fairly pissed.

Here's a shot from last May near Capitan, NM.

IDRIDR 08-25-2017 04:51 PM

Nice pic, Thad. Good to hear you're still putting down the miles on the KLX. How many miles to you have on that machine? Congrats on getting more motorcycle money with the passing of another year. I'm turning the 50 this month!
Yes, photobucket has pissed many off. I like photo hosting and use the smugmug, but it does cost some.

TNC 08-25-2017 11:32 PM

Mileage on the KLX is somewhere around the 35K area. This is mostly dirt mileage, as it's never been a commuter or for just tooling around. As you know it's mainly been hauled out to the western U.S. for some adventures. The camping has been quite luxurious since the last time we met in Utah. Instead of the van, the toy hauler has been awesome. Free camping in BLM and forest lands is great.:D

Thanks for the tip klx678 i will have to check it out. The PhotoBucket pics i posted earlier in the thread worked when i posted them, now i see they don't show up. grr !!! . PB wont get any of my money. Good to hear that you guys are still kicking around. I rode some in Colorado again this year , and i was planning to put of a few pics of that just to show you guys that i was still alive. That was a few weeks ago and was the first time Ive been out. :( Our club lost the land we leased to a group of hunters in Chicago. the farmer we rented from sold it. big $$. I'm planning to go ride with some buddies up in northern Wi in Sept, but its been few and far between. Scott , we were at about 90% totality , which was coo,l but nowhere near the effect at 100%. My employer was really cool and bought everybody glasses, and gave us a half hour to watch. Don't worry about a slow year riding, sometimes it comes and goes. I have a buddy who has sold his bike twice because he wasn't riding , only to buy another one each time. lol Thad i see you are still living the easy/good life, and now you can mooch some off of the govt. LOL ;) I say take everything you can get, you paid more in that you will probably get out. I have my Husky which is great for the woods but the KLX went to Colorado with me because it does better on the highway and does great for the less aggressive riding i do out there. Some tough trails but i don't bomb through since I'm riding alone. I'll check in again and maybe post a picture or two. Dan
