One Last Ride Before...
 

Don and I took the KLX's out today for a Memorial Day ride to the infamous Area 52 (not to be confused with Area 51), then out to Bartlett Lake. I got us little sidetracked on the way up the mountain and we wound up on a wicked a*s steep trail that was nothing but loose river rocks - Not fun, at least that part wasn't. The bouncing around really made the hernia close to unbearable. The views though were nice up on the mountain but driving back down to the lake and checking the babes made the sacrifice worth it. Anyhow, I go in for surgery this Thursday to finally take care of the hernia.

Seriously, best of luck.......but I gotta ask, you work out and are in good shape doing the rock climbing thing.....how the hell did ya get a hernia?????

I thought fat guys got that reaching for coffee??

Keep us appraised.....btw...I recently had to endure a morphine drip for a collision between my elbow and a tree.....the tree won....but morphine goot...lol. ;)

I actually got the hernia picking up the bike to put it on its stand several months ago - In shape? I don't know about that, but I am falling apart! As for the morphine +1!

It's about time you're taking care of that! If you need me to ride your hot looking KLX while you're recovering (keep the parts lubricated :D), let me know babe! I'll stop by this weekend but don't ask me to change your bed pan!!!

Hey Mark, don't worry about the surgery, all will go well for you. In the event that something does go wrong, I do get your bike right? I thought that was the agreement.:D Seriously take care buddy, maybe Kathy can bring you one of those balloons that say get well soon.;)

250s rider, you did a maaaaavelous job with that black paint. It really transforms the look of the bike....not that I'm partial to the color or anything.
