i want to start by saying i serched and googled and only found stuff on trail tech stuff. so to what i want to ask, how difficult would it be or is it possable to put an "analog" dash in place of the new digital one? it's not really imperative to do and i know that i just am not a huge fan of the digital dash and all the fanciness of it i enjoy wacthing the needles move around for fun plus it would remind me of my old xl250

 

You would need a new front hub with the drive for the speedo. I'm not sure that the 09 and up forks have the lug cast in them that keeps the speedo gear drive from spinning with the wheel either. I think every bit of this type of conversion would be a pain in the butt. If it's even possible. I like analog gauges too but I really like my trail-tech vapor.

You would need to make some wiring mods as well. The connectors are different. The old dash is a lot heavier too.
