Oil Type for TTR 225

Hey Guys,

Just wondering if anyone know where I might go to find out what type of oil to put in
my buddies TTR 225. He called a couple of local shops, and they wanted him to come
in before they would tell him what type to get.

Thanks,

Jethro

Well my wife's Yamaha XT 225 only has only 700 miles on it but I think I actually used the Kawichem 10W/40 that I had bought for the KLX. Besides a yamaha doesn't know the difference between Kawichem and yamalube.[sm=smiley20.gif]

Wow, Tell your buddy to look for another shop. If they can't tell someone over the phone what oil to get, that is sad indeed. But then again I suppose they want you to come in so that you will actually buy the oil from them. Still sounds fishy to me....Is it "sounds fishy" or "smells fishy"? [8D][8D][8D]
