Where are you seeing that the hubs are the same part # between S and SF? The 41034 in the part # just denotes that it's a hub.

Below are part #'s for 2009 models:

SF Front Hub 41034-0043-18R
S Front Hub 41034-0051
SF Rear Hub 41034-0053-18R
S Rear Hub 41034-0044

I would assume that they are the same but I don't want to purchase S spokes and rims and realize that the hubs really are different. I know I won't be able to return the parts.

I just picked up a brand new 2009 250SF for my woman yesterday. We might be interested in swapping our brand new SF wheels/tires for good condition S wheels. Or maybe even selling the the SF wheels outright. If anyone is interested in either of these options please contact me through PM and we can try and figure something out.

Since our wheels/tires are 0 mile brand new a even trade for beat down used S wheels probably won't happen, we might ask for a couple dollars to even things out.

Thanks.

Where are you from and what you want for the SF wheels outright?
I like the idea of having a spare set with 60/40 on it..

I'm not sure what they are worth yet or how much it's going to cost to replace them with 21"/17" wheels. You can PM me an offer and I'll do some research on my end.

EDIT: in Santa Fe NM but it's easy enough to ship anywhere in the US.

Default I got lucky

I also was looking to have a set of both wheels for my 09 sf. I found and purchased a set off ebay from " xtreme-motors-08 ". They are apparantly a huge rec vehicle scrap and have used oem parts for just about everything. I got the complete set of 2009 250s wheels/ tires/ sprocket/ rotors/ axle bolts for $319 + $50 shipping. They are in excellent condition and all I have to do is swap the front rotor. Maybe if you contacted them they could find a set for you as well. I checked before I wrote this and they had one front wheel setup for 40 or $50 but said the rim was bent. Not a huge deal if you know someone who can tune the spokes and for $50 it's a no brainer. Good luck

Not sure if the 07 dirt rims will fit the newer ones, If so I have a set with newer tires on them (minus sprokets and rotors) I'm selling for $200

The 2009 and newer KLX250 has a different front hub than the 2007 and older. The speedo gear cog prongs are reversed due to the change from the mechanical to electronic speedo pickup.

The entire rear wheel assembly is interchangeable between old and new.
