Default Not sure what this is.....

Looking around my bike toaday and saw this tubing which has been burnt by the exaust pipe. Any concernes? What is this tube for?

It's just a vent tube, however, you'll want to move it. Did you work on your carb? Losen the screw on that corner of the carb and swing the holder to the back. I would replace it, but it's not like you need to do it before you ride it again, unless it's melted shut.

That is a breather/overflow line from your carb. As long as you don't call off your bike so fuel then leaks onto your exhaust you should be ok. Given petrols low flash point and the extremely low cost of fuel line I would replace it though. The pipe is meant to slide down to under the bike near your rear suspension linkage.

Do you ride through deep water crossings? If so, consider the "Y" mod to the line where a "Y" connector is spliced in the line and a new line up under the seat or tank somewhere so the carb can vent if the lower lines are covered in water.
