New tires
I just installed a set of AC-10's front and rear. Is it me or are these tires crap, on the road and dirt? I know they are softer on the road and I can feel that in the curves. But in the dirt these things wash out bad at slow speeds and fast, litterly scared the crap out of me in the dirt. I was running 22psi rear and 18.5 front. Any suggestions?

Lower air pressure. 15psi with no rim lock should be ok. I've been as low as 12psi in the rear but I am light.

I had the same experience with the AC10's. Even though the tread pattern is pretty aggressive the front would wash out in the dirt. I have had really good results with the Kenda TMII's front and rear. Some folks don't like them but they work really well in the stuff I encounter. They also corner low on asphalt:D

I ran the ac 10 on the te450 on the street and it threw knobs in one ride. But that was almost 7 years ago. I'd hope that they got better. Soft compound and tall knobs... No bueno
