New Seat...Aaaaaaaah!
Received my new seattoday. It is the Daytona brand 'Cozy SeatX-low' The 'low'designation means the foamis carved lower to reduce rideheight by about 1".

New seat on bike:

The seat has two layers of foam, each layer having a different type of foam. The sides are re-enforcedwith a firmer typefoam to better support the ol buttocks so you're not squishing into the seat and allowing the foam in the center to climb-up the crack of your wazu! The seat is covered with an anti-slip material.
I took the bike out and rode it for about two hours straight with no discomfort what-so-ever. With the stock seat, I was forced to take a rest every 30 minutes, unless my butt had gone completely numb! With the 'X-low' I now sit completely flat-footed with a 31" inseam. That's with the stock links.
This seat is only available in Japan. My first choice was to send the stock pan stateside to Renazco who makes some of the finest dual sport and enduro seats available, but I procrastinated too long and am not willing to sacrifice any riding time. So,if any of you have similar problems with the stock seat, Irecommend them highly. They chargeclose to $400.00 to rework your stock seat, but I'd bet it's worth every cent. You could even specify whether you want the seat to be lower or higher. Weshould have a review of theRenazco seat shortly from Nobrakes.

Wazu? Is that the technical term? LOL that's awesome. So when do you start shipping to the states? In fact it would seem that with all of the options and cool aftermarket stuff over there you or someone you know could start a nice little business. Just a thought.
Believe me, I've thought of it, but one unknowingly illegal move and I could lose my cushy job and get deported all in one motion. One thing for sure, I know it can't be done through the Military Postal System.
