New member and new KLX 250SF
Hey all, I just got this new (leftover) 2010 KLX 250SF. I absolutely love this bike. I have a question though - when it's warm, it seems to need a bit of throttle to get started again. Otherwise, it runs great. I understand this is a common issue, right? Is it anything to be concerned with?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Congrats on the bike. One thing about the 2010 is those wheels are killer. I was looking for a 2010 but no local dealership would budge on the price. Mind you, this was about three months ago (2011). I picked up a used 2009 that only had 37 miles on the odometer.
What do you mean, a little bit of throttle to get going?
Mine has a dead spot between 2-3k rpm when I ride after it has been completed cooled down. No matter how long I let it idle, I pull out of my driveway and I roll the throttle it just pauses, almost like fuel has been cut off. Once I ride for a bit (less than .25 miles), there is no more dead spot. No idea why mine does this.
