New KLX250s Owner

What up fellow KLX’ers. Long time rider but not recently and just picked up a new to me 2019.

Picked it up with SR1 exhaust, seat concepts and fender eliminator, etc.

Just popped on a KDX snorkel/EJK and it’s running excellent. Also put on some 705s, the front was a major pain to seat! Did order an O2 sensor eliminator before I picked up the EJK if a needs one. $30 shipped.

looking forward to getting some miles on this sucker!

Welcome! 300cc AHL cylinder kit for $140 would be your best value for the buck if you consider squeeze a bit more grunt from the bike!
And be careful with 02 delete to not harm your engine. Ecu is smart enough to maintain correct afr for minor mods in closed loop. With 02 delete you likely just add way too much fuel in closed loop.
In the open loop however when ecu doesn't use o2 sensor readings the AFR might be lean. So in short - o2 delete is waste of money and extra fuel burned for nothing.

Is adding the 300cc kit an easy process? Is an ecu piggyback required?

I'm sick of running back and forward to mechanics with my 330 kit. The power is great but nobody can get it running optimal with the EJK and the recent ApiTech Standalone addition to my bike, although it ran great for the first 5k km, failed recently and support for the device is limited. A replacement has been sent but currently been held to ransom in customs. So yes... I'm quite f###ing over it 💩

If I can't find a solution to have a reliable running 330, then I'm strongly considering going back to 250cc and just enjoying it for what it is.
