New KLX250S

Just completed the usual mods to my 07'KLX and there is a couple of inches of snow on the ground. My test ride will have to wait. I chose the 122 main because of the earlier posts, but I have a 125 on order for when my Big Gun arrives. With the fuel screw out 2.5 turns, the bike firedright up, andI had the choke off within a minute with a smooth idle. I did notice a slight pop when I blipped the throttle. Here is what Idid.122 main, 2.5 on the fuel screw, N1TC needle with clip two from top, drilled the slide and crankcasevent in the airbox, KDX200 snorkel, stock air filter with No-toil oil, and drilled 1/2" hole in muffler baffle. I kept the air injection system on for the time being. I will update soon with my thoughts on the mods. Also, I will test them on the portable EGA we have at work when the weather permits. Has anyone tried a EGA on the bike? Here is a pic from my first off road ride.

make sure you upgrade to a Uni-filter or twinair when your BG arrives. you made a wise choice going with the BG. it will wake the bike up significantly. you may also want to go to the 125 to not starve it of fuel. i have a 128, but i don't live in any mountain areas either. also, rip the smog system off and put some caps on the 3 openings. it really cleans the underneath up of the dumb tubes.

Nice...you dont waste any time do you :D

See how it goes once the exhaust arrives but you may need a 40 pilot and turn back to 2 turns on the screw....just wait and see first though.

he may be right. with just the 35 pilot my bike is sometimes hard to start when cold. a larger one may help that a bit. after it's warmed up though, i have no problems on popping on deceleration. the majority on here i believe are running stock 35 pilots.
