Default My belly pan is bigger than your belly pan!

Just throwing down the gauntlet!

Wet and grimy Salt Grit covered roads & road widening road works general dirt getting my commuting boots and biking trousers too mucky!

Its not 100% road grime proof but it makes a big difference. Its held on with some U bolts, and some old bits of rubber rad pipe act as a sound damper between the frame and metal sheet, at the U bolts, so the sheet does not "tin drum".

I had to turn the horn the other way around (face backwards) and the belly pan fitted fine, with no other adjustments. Originally I had it fitted with the wide part at the bottom, but actually it is better this way around.

p.s. The chamois covered sponge wedged in behind the hand guard is for wiping my visor.

Damn son! That thing is huge!

I bought some Frogg Leggs Boots, they go over my MX boots and up almost to my knee...my feet are warmer, my pants and boots are totally dry...same effect but different approach.

I know what you mean about the salt and grime, my leather boots were totally white from salt...it took some serious TLC to get them even close to being black and waterproof again.

That'll cost at least 5 mpg.

Ever see those skis on the swamp buggies? I'm thinking this thing would allow you to ski across a small pond if you hit it fast enough!

Good shoe guard on a wet day though...

Daaaaaaang!!! You're gonna have to go to a 50 tooth on the back just to make up for the difference in wind resistance. LOL

Deej - You should post up a pic of your fender extender. This rider could use it to help keep down the grime factor.

Well I could do that, but I don't want anyone to steal my awesome idea. LOL
