need some parts help for old bike...
 

Hey guys, my friend bought a 1975 yamaha dt-400 street and trail, and he is having trouble finding front for seals, and the parts to rebuild the front forks, any help you guys could give me would be great....

Maybe Bike bandit.com can help. Also if he can take the seals to a bearing/seal store perhaps they can cross reference the numbers on the seal or go by measurments and come close to a replacement. Thats where my thinking takes me.

Check out www.oldbikebarn.com They carry quite a few metric parts old and new. If you don't see what you need, send them an email and they will find it for you. Good bunch of people. I have dealt with them on many occasions for some older bike parts...

And, of course, keep an eye on Ebay...
