Need a shorter twist throttle for a 2007

I'm getting really tired/fatigued with having to shift my grip on the throttle to go from off to full on.

I'm done some research and see that Zeta and Pro Motion seem to be the most popular but it's unclear if they will work on a 2007.

Any 2006/2007 owners addressed this?

Thanks.

i know a couple guys have the motion vortex throttle and love it

Yep, I have an 1/8 turn Motion Pro Vortex throttle on my 2009. I love it, one of the best mods I've done. You just need to go to a single cable throttle when converting. You can see mine on my website close to bottom of the page here:

I just modified the linkage on the carb, free and effective

Its too bad you have to ditch so much of the OEM switch gear to make it work.
I have the ZETA quick turn throttle and can barely tell any difference, i would love this 1/8 turn but dont wanna get rid of the switches...

If you have the stock carb, you can modify it to act like a quick turn throttle. Bend the outter part of the bracket that the end of the "open" cable goes through and drill another hole in the other side to align with the new position.

As long as you take your time and clean ut up a bit with a file it works perfectly

ahh very clever! How much difference did this make? i.e. how much quicker is it?

With the stock tube on there its right around 1/4 turn , I have a bunch of old tubes from sport bikes ill try next time I change grips.

I hated those switches. They aren't needed, only the start button. This also prevents you from killing engine with the switch and having the headlight on. You kill engine with key, it's all off. I prefer it this way.
