My work in progress: Street Adventures!

Last weekend I installed my Utah skid plate & today the 2Brothers slip on w/P4 tip. It really took longer for me to get the tools out& put away then it did to do the installation.

I want to ask you guys w/2Bro pipes some questions:

Did your mid pipe turn golden color within a few miles of riding like mine did? (carb & air box is still stock)

Did the pipe bring you attention from the man like mine did?

I was riding down the road at about 6-7g when I saw the man. I saw him do a double take as he passedin the opposite direction& the brake lightswent on. As soon as I sawthat, I hit the signal & began to pull over. He sat there a second & continued in hisoriginal direction.

My brother was outside & said he heard me coming from at least 1 mile away. I didn't think it was that loud!

Is it my imagination that the bike seems to revs to 8G without trying now?

I didn't think it would change color so fast! It matched the front pipe in minutes what it took a few rides & 175 miles to do on the header.

Also, I have ridden by the man quite a few times in this town & this is the 1st time one of them looked like they were comming for me, but again this is the 1st time with the slip on!

They were probably slowing downjust enough to try and catch a glimpse of your plate to see if was a street legal machine or not IMO. My buddy got pulled over one time because the cop thought the rear D606 he had on was off-highway only until my friend pointed out the DOT stamp.;)

You don't have anything to worry about. The mid pipe on my 2 bros turned gold quickly too.

You need to jet your carb if you put a new Muffler it will really turn fast when its lean....the bike is already very lean stock

+1
The head pipe may turn blue eventually if left too lean.

My FMF header took a few hundred miles to turn gold.

Don't run it lean, at least put a 125 or bigger in place of the main jet.
Lean = hot
