Default Muzzy Springs. 3 or 4?

My Muzzy set was waiting for me today when I got home.

The header pipe only has one spring loop. Is that right? The Midpipe has two on each side.

I sent an email to pipecity.com but, of course everyone is closed To top it off I have to go to the mainland for a week.

Thanks Brian. I hope they can rectify without a bunch of hassle.

:edit:
Pipecity emailed on 30Jun and said that it is an error and will try to get a new one out.
Since I paid almost $400 for the set I want them to correct the problem and not rig up my own solution.

I just spoke to Muzzy's , there seem to be a few that got out that did not have the top bracket on the header pipe.
They said that I could ship it back and they would fix it.
But also stated that it really isn't needed.
Since I already have it installed on the bike I'm gonna keep it on.
But if anything happens They know it was a manufacturig defect.
BTW what a difference Muzzy vs Stock

You could probably have a local welder put a spring holder on for a few bucks.

VPCS, what other mods did you do?

I have the Snorkel, dynojet kit and muzzy I want to do all at once.

BTW - I think lame Quality Control on Muzzy. And, to just say its ok anyways... lame, lame for for a supposed good quality system.

TASOD,
I did
125 mainjet
40pilot
300 needle clipped 2 down from the top
Drilled the slide 7/64"
The 200 snorkle
Mixture out 2.5 turns
and the Muzzy.
It is a totally different bike... I did the carb work a week ago and the Muzzy last night.
Road it in to work today 80 MPH down the interstate with out any problems.
It went from sounding like a moped to a true dirt bike.

That's it I'm calling the dealer tomorrow and asking him to look at my pipe that's in and if it only has one hook, I am going to be mad[:@]......and you wouldn't like me when I'm mad...(Incredible Hulk)
