Default Mikuni TM33 Carby help Please!

hi peoples!!!
im buying a klx250...he wants $5500..its an 05, with 2200kms...
can i use this carby on the bike if i buy it?
thanks for your help..
TM33-8012. here are the specs:
Size(mm): 33 Main Jet:127.5 Pilot Jet:37.5 Air Jet: 0.7 Needle Jet:784-241111P-8 Jet Needle: 5FP96

1. Fitment: That particular carb will require that you grind away part of the frame for proper fit in stock form. Bill Blue will machine and fit custom adapter rings, so that it will the our bike withour any mods.

2. Jetting: The main jet size in probably ok if you don't open the airbox any, but, if you do, I'd probably go with about a #137.5.

I'll let others chime-in on the PJ, PAJ and needle, since I'm not familiar with the ones on that carb.


The price on the bike sounds a bit high if you are in the U.S.

Is the carbie with the bike? If you are thinking about getting the bike and then getting the carbie I suggest you get one off Bill Blue. They fit without having to grind anything.
$5500 seems high for a 2005 unless it is in mint condition and with lots of extras.A brand new 07 is $6490

i mean its in excellent condition but 5500?i said would you do it for 5000 and he was pretty adamant...who is bill blue?
and i suppose from him you would get a properly set up carby eh?
what do you reckon i should be offering him?
