One thing to think about, if your in alot of muddy/rocky/gravel than that supermoto fender might not be so good, can leave the expensive rads open for a direct hit.... something to think about....

I have been looking at upgrading my front fender as well and will probably get a full face helmet, getting real tired of my front feeling loose at high highway speeds from the turbulance and my head being blown all over from my visor yanking my helmet back

+1 on the helmet for me too. Add that to a long list of expenses (all the mods to date plus real handguards, new fender, new tires, first service) and this little cheap bike ain't so cheap anymore

What street helmet are you looking at? All I think I can afford at this point is an HJC....

I have not seen your ride around town. You think the only two klx 'tards around would have seen each other by now. Were you at the trade x?

The KX250 front fender fits the KLX250S. It looks a lot better that our stock unit, which is the same as the KX80. My dealer put one on his D-Tracker...looks pretty sharp. Just another option.

Welll, I ordered the tecnik today (green/white)...after this weekend the stocker has quite a bit of trail pin stripping (more like trail rash!)

Iput 3mm washers on the rear two mounts on my Tecnik so it tilt it more forward and wouldn't rub on the frame.I hear you have to do the same thing for the KX250 fender. Be prepared to make a run to a hardware store if you don't have some washers handy.
