light bulb numbers and headlight
 

hey guys does anyone know the light bulb numbers for a 2014 klx 250? im thinking of swapping to led's. also what are my options for a headlight upgrade bulb replacement?

I use a tusk white bulb, it was like $10 on amazon, much brighter, and it's white! Any H4 bulb will work, just try to keep wattage around 55/65 otherwise you may melt some stuff.

I use Phillips Nightbreaker. Very bright H4 bulb, not sure if its available in US, but you guys should have something domestic.

However, I am also very interested in one of the new LED H4's. They don't cost THAT much, seem way easier to install than Xenon and almost as bright.

Maybe they can be found cheaper on Ebay?

From what I can tell the LED lights are good for short distance, but don't extend very far during night riding.

Is this the bulb you are talking about?

I just installed a. PIAA H4 super white
95/110.. Nice and bright.. Same draw as stock
But bend over $80 for a pair

How hot does it get? My tusk bulb actually feels cooler than stock

The heat is about the same as stock.
I installed the other one on my Harley.
I like them the box says 4300K but they have a hint of blue so like 5K
The brights are VERY bright like a Frieght Train
About the best you can buy..
Next would be HID.. And I just put a set of HIDs on my Jeep

HID for the klx is like $60 if I remember correctly. It vastly dropped in price over the past year.
