LED brake light, brighter?

Looking at the replacement brake light at superbrightleds.com and was wondering if they are any brighter than the stock bulb?

Has anyone used this light or similar and noticed a significant difference?

Not sure what is meant in those threads by tower, but I think it means it needs to be one with leds on the sides and ends. I had one like that and it was great in the stock light.
Now I'm back to the DRC Edge2, the less crap rattling around back there off-road the better(for me).

I put a Edge tail light my 2007 and was disappointed in it visibility. The Edge tail light is mounted where the plate light was and additionally provides the white light for the license plate. It seemed dimmer than the stock incandescent light. I kept it and replaced the 1157 incandescent tail light bulb with a 3 W single LED Flashing bulb from SuperbrightLED.com for around $18. It is as bright as the stock bulb and it flashes 3 times when first turned on. So now I have two brake lights. You cannot have too much light on the back end. When stopped at a light I just tap the brake lever an make it flash as traffic approaches for behind.

Remember, we are invisible and they are trying to kill us.

I have a superbright tower on my Harley..
I would say it is as bright as stock.. So about the same
If you do get one you need to get the RED Led they say it works better with a red lens
