KLX450 wins on debut

I know the KLX450 has been out for a while over in the states but has only just been released here in Aus and has won a 24 hour reliability trialalready. If you wanna have a look it's here

[sm=funnypostabove.gif] a KLX450 would eat a yellow pig and spit the spokes out

Hello guys!

Probably i am not writing on the right place, sorry for that. I have a doubt. How much miles do you have on yours KLX450?

I am searching one to buy and i have one that looks nice but the problem is that the bike have 19000kms, is like 11800 miles. What do you think about this? Anyone have this miles? The engine can be fine?

Thanks!

What country are you posting from? The KLX450R was almost a non-entity in the U.S. Yes, it was here, but it was a serious competition bike for off road, extreme enduro, etc. You just don't see them in the wild very much. In fact, more KX450's are probably used for racing than the KLX450R. Nothing wrong with the bike. It is not a dual sport bike as it was presented here in the states. This is a pure race bike. Discussing it here is fine, but it has little to do with the KLX250 or KLX300.

Why did I read the title and instantly think they were making a KLX450 here in the states as a dual sport?.....maybe....because Honda has a CRF450L that's road legal and Kawai needs to follow suit :)

That would be pretty cool, and I'd be pleasantly shocked.

I'm from Portugal. I did not know that. Thanks for your clarification!
