Should be, the cylinder is all that changes out. Don't know if the EFI computer can compensate for it, but the bolt on mechanical stuff should work.

Bill Blue just came out here and in the ADVrider forum stating they now have the EFI adapter working with the 351cc kit and likely the 330cc kit.

Does that EFI on the standard bike have more HP/torque than a pumper carb'ed unit?

Good question but I'd bet doubtful. I'm pretty sure it was primarily due to emissions. It's still a 34mm throttle body. On the other hand I doubt it lost any power.

I notice it's still 11:1 compression too. Most people will appreciate the lack of concern for jetting and such.

I put one together a couple of weeks ago at the shop, but it was just going to sit on the floor initially, so it wasn't completely serviced. I would have like to ride it for comparison. Honestly, everything on it looks fairly identical to the original model with the exception of e-start and FI.

I noticed the huge bulge on the left side behind the number plate, so popped it open. It appears to be a charcoal canister or such.

fi is no power adder over carb in this application stock. 250 or new 300, run quality consistency may be improved. .,

I recalled that there are small differences with the intake tube and coolant sensor socket when comparing EFI cylinder head with previous years. However not sure with the recent 300R and looks like those still can be modified to work though.
