KLX250S Toolkit?

Just purchased a new 2009 KLX250S. However, I did something very rare,...I read the manual. The manual stated there is a toolkit that should accompany the 250S. Is that true? If so, can you share with me what the contents of the toolkit is supposed to be? I am going to contact the dealer and see if I can get one. But if they cannot provide one, I will make one as I don't want to get stuck in the boondocks without a proper toolkit.

I have had many dual purpose bikes. I really like the 250S. I would however, like a little more power from it.

Yeh, should have come with a basic kit.
Apart from the plug spanner its useless as tits on a bull. :D

Sort yourself out with a decent set up.

I thought the saying was useless as tits on a nun...LOL Yeah really I think the only thing in my kit that I have ever used is the spark plug tool.

Welcome, get the tool kit from bike bandit oem parts. For more quick power, open up the airbox, rejet and aftermarket pipe. You can also gear it down a little. There are many threads on this forum for more power, use the search.

the tool kit should have been mounted on the rear fender,,,, where the manual is!!!

The tool kit comes in handy when you dont have your toolbox near and need to do some basic stuff.

Its worth having.

Did you check that little black pouch behind the seat?

Tool Kit

Wow! Really good response. Thank You very much.

I guess since the Kit is considered worthless I will not worry about it. A spark plug wrench in a four stroke toolkit would be considered worthless.

Again, Thanks for the replies and the Greetings.

Spook Out
