Hello all, I am new to the site. After looking around for a bit I realized there are pretty much zero choices for SM wheels for the s model. I do believe I have changed that for everyone. I should have the prototype set by the end of the week. Upon arrival I'll post pictures and drop the name of the company that will be producing them

 

I've had Moto wheels on mine for about six years they are Excel wheels I got them from a member who lived in Japan

 

doesn't excel and warp9 both make supermoto wheels that are adaptable for the klx250s?

 

Excel, warp 9, woodys wheel works...there are many option for sm wheels...all the companies do is get 17" rims, new hubs for your make and model, and lace it up and there you go sm wheels.

 

strange not to long ago I messaged warp 9 and they said


Good morning, and thank you for your interest in Warp 9. We do not offer
wheels for the KLX250. All I can offer you is the rims, and you would need
to source the spokes elsewhere. I suggest Buchanan's at 626-969-4655. You
would then need to lace them to your stock hubs.

Good afternoon. This is in regards to the rear fender you run. I have an 07 klx250s and it's in tough shape but on it's way back to life. I'm looking for somthing other than factory to run for a rear fender and yours looks great. Is it stock or from another bike? I cant find anything aftermarket that will look good and function with the tail light I'd like to run. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

 

your gonna have to fab up a mount for the tail light if you use anything but a stock fender for that year

 

Go to Google and do a search on "MX fender license plate mount". They run from about 10 bucks for a Chinese special to $125 for a Yoshimura kit.

I have one, but forget where I got it. I got a red CR fender on clearance at Iron Pony to match up with the red KLX, then I got the inner mount set up.
