Default Klx250s

I've scouted the posts about the KLX and need some additional schooling. I have a 2014 KLX250S, with a FMF Q4 and a TM 36-68. Stock everything else except the snorkel removed. I'm used to 2 strokes, dirt and street, so it's a little difficult for me to jet this thing. I have several mains and I'm waiting for pilots to show up but I'm probably going to order a .9 pilot air jet also. My problem is that I did a plug chop on the main and it shows rich (900 feet altitude) but most setups I see are 127.5. It runs good off the bottom after adjusting the AP, and no lean popping when closing the throttle but there's a flat spot and miss at 1/2 throttle. Clip is third from the top.
The exhaust note from the Q4 makes it hard for me to hear what's going on since it sounds different from any 4 stroke I've had before. Should I just order an array of needles and needle jets and spend a day tinkering or is there a better way?

Try a ride with the airbox lid removed - test for increased power levels above 7k..
