Apologies if I've posted this in the wrong Forum, as I have a 2005 KLX250 (which I don't believe is a 250S).
I was still hoping I could get some help on finding alternate options to the OEM Front Brake Line.
I am hoping to get a stainless steel line that replaces the original brake hose as well as the hard-line that runs under the caliper (aka, a line with banjo bolts either side).
What other model KLX or KXs would share similar length and fitting configurations as what's required to fit the 2005 KLX250?
From looking at diagrams it seems either the 09+ KLX250S or the 07+ KLX450R might fit my bike?

Any help is appreciated.
Also, I am located in Australia, so getting a line made up by 'Bill' probably isn't an option for me.

KLX650 is very likely the same. They use similar forks and all. Model years started in 1993, only ran to 1996 in the U.S. not sure about Australia.

 

Thanks for the reply! You're right, looks like the 650 has an identical brake line set up as the 250. Unfortunately, there was no stock of those lines either.
I decided to go for a KLX450R line, that way I can go straight to the caliper and bypass the hardline.

I'll post here to let people know if it worked once I install the part.

 

I have a print that the KLX650 guys used to do what was called the CR wrap.


It would wrap around behind the fork.
