Default KLX250 EFI Dyno Chart

Hello.

I have attached a dyno run I have had on my KLX. I run everything stock apart from the GPR exhaust system and the clutch switch mod. I thought I would post this to see what people made of it.

Thanks

I can believe that chart. It sounds very reasonable in that 18-20hp range that seems common for a basically stock bike.

Edit: Wait a minute...isn't that a high torque number starting out?

Looks about right to me. Remember that the right axis is to be used to read torque.

The power curve shows about 9 hp at 4000 rpm, which corresponds to a torque of 11.36 lb-ft, which is about what the torque curve reads at 4000. These are normal figures for the KLX, from other dyno curves published.

you guys are WAYYY off base. Obviously this is a fake graph since stock we should be looking at 14-15 HP max and this shows no info about temp, humidity, tire type, amount of coinage in the dyno operators pocket, color of shirt the owner was wearing, etc.

Well for 20 hp, the owner was obviously wearing a black and green Monster Energy shirt.

If Batcave plugs in a 02 sensor eliminator, for about 20 bucks he can enjoy another couple of HP. The ECU is running pretty lean after slinging on a decent pipe!

AFR graph shows pretty lean (14) up to 6000rpm & then it's pretty good until 7500rpm & starts to drop off lean again. I run my bike at 13.4 AFR in the 2000-6000 range & 12.8 from 6000-11000 range! Interesting

I do have an O2 eliminator but when I fitted it the exhaust would slightly backfire at 4500rpm when coming off the gas so i have left it stock for the moment. I may try the eliminator again and go for a ride. Or even have a dyno run with the eliminator plugged in and see what results I get.

I thought the uber-restricted 15HP version was for CA.
This one is an EFI.
The EFIs seem to roll off the power above 8K quicker than the carbed versions, otherwise this compares well to the figures here:
