I am a newbie to dirt bikes, this forum, and Kawasaki's and am getting a KLX250 in a crate in a few days. A friend and I are putting it together. Any non intuitive must dos? (think I can figure out where the tires go...)

 

Wow we need the "rest of the story" When I went to the shop to pick my bike up it was still in the crate, handlebars down, dry battery and fluids, and the tires were off as well. Where are you and why are you getting a bike in a crate? I didn't think they would sell them that way, something about liability or warranty or something. What's the dealio? Oh and welcome to the forums.

How the heck did you get a bike in crate form. Kawasaki isn't gonna ship it to you that way.

 

Make sure you grease all the bearings as Kawasaki seem to have run out of grease

 

Finger Mullet got his bike in a crate guys...... where u been?

 

I bought my KX250F in a crate, but there is no warranty on race bikes.
