I heard SeaFoam works. But that product is more of a carbon remover. And probably not best to use for clean carbs. Try any off the shelf carb and fuel injection cleaner for automotive before trying something more powerful. And remember to add the correct amount to the gas tank per gallon (FYI, NOT the entire bottle). What I use personally is B-12 Chemtool. Once every oil change, or once a year, or on winter stored engines.

...I had a about 1/2 tank of gas in the KLX and added about 1/3 of the bottle to it. I'll run the tank down low before refilling. Then probably do it again until the bottle is empty. I just did several miles on the bike, too soon to really say if its helping, but I THINK I may see a slight difference already. I should know in a couple days after this stuff has had time to work.

Well, seems the GUNK Fuel Injector & Caburetor Cleaner did the trick. MUCH better! I added about 1/3 of the bottle to a 1/2 tank (or less) of gas, twice now. Much better. Once in a while I still can get a "stall" after rolling to a stop, engine drops to idle then if I give it gas again immediately. But this is much rarer than before. But it still bugs me a little. If I come to a stop and let the engine idle for more than 5 or 10 seconds (and I initially roll on the throttle slowly to build RPM to 3000 RPM or so) it almost never happens now. But the fact it can still happen at all bugs me. But as I say, things are WAY better than they were. And I will run the last 1/3rd of the bottle of carb cleaner though, that may help eliminate most, if not all, of whats left of the stalling issue. I may start using the GUNK carb cleaners regularly (or at least annually).
jet kit, jet kit, jet kit. I know you don't want to pull the carb but my stock one would do some of the things yours does. Now, I pull the choke, start the engine, push the choke back in, and ride. I don't have any problems at all now. See if you can find some non-ethenol gas too. The store where I bought my bike has the petcock and a fuel guage that they replaced and said it was due to to the ethenol gas deteriating the metal. May have been their way to sell an additive but I have two stations close to me that sell it (non-ethenol)and I have been running it in mine lately. I wish this country could come up with better ways to use corn than forcing it down the fill spout in my vehicles. I think the hungry people on earth would rather eat it. Opps, sorry for the political crap. Maybe we all need to ride one of those electric bikes. Not in my lifetime!!!!
Did the jet kit change you MPG at all? I love my KLX but the 2 gal tank has me watching the miles all the time (I usually zero out the Trip B meter when I fill the tank so I know how many miles I have gone)
I haven't gotten an exact, but as soon as I run this tank out I will. feel sure that it isn't the 60 or 70 MPG that I've heard of but in my case I really dont care. I can easily pull a string out of a cats a$$ where as before I had to be at 6000 RPMs with the stock set up.
When I did the DynoJet kit on my KLX, MPG went from 65 to 60. Last fill up took me 110 miles before res (1.6 gallons used). With a 10% speedo error in the odometer, is equal to 61mpg.
