Default KLX 250 and KLR 650

A guy at work bought the 650 last year and we went on a couple of rides, he is riding his bike until his truck gets out of the shop. Here are a couple of pictures. You can really see the profile difference. I forgot that the 650 has a stationary headlight. That would seem weird that the light would be delayed while turning. Especially on slow trails at night. Anyway here are a couple of pics, and also last week on Friday as I was leaving the herd of Elk that hangs around were on the lawn in the day time, which has only happened a handful of times in 11 years.

Mmmmmmmm Elk meat.

Those are the exact 2 bikes that I agonized over in the dealership wondering which one to buy. I love the KLR650 for what it is, but I made the right choice. Definitely a candidate for the stable once I can afford a case of MBD.

Very cool, nice job you seem to have.(DEP?) Weather looks perfect, lucky you. It is freezing in NY.

When you installed the Acerbis handguards, did you have do do any special adjustments? I put mine on last night, the right side, I needed a different bracket. Also it is nigh impossible to keep them in line.
Did you do anything in paricular, thatI should try? Thanks.

DEP??? Is the break side hitting the reservoir? I ended up drilling an inch and a half hole in the hand guard to let the hose sit into it.

Department Of Environmental Protection. Are your two handguards in line?

What ride was that on. That looked pretty damned sweet. KLXers VS the KLRs. Heavy and mean vs. light and insane!! Who won?
