I have the carb'd service manual for the '09 up. PM me your email addresses and I'll try to send it. I'm gonna try to .zip it and see if I can send it that way. If that doesn't work, I might need some coaching. And Thump, I'll take that EFI service manual from ya, never know when it's coming to the U.S.

Graham, thanks for your thoughtful sharing. I have an 07 but most of the mechanical info is the same and appreciate the manual!

Hi ledgini
Thanks bud, awsome ride with the fat sticky Bridgesone 140 on the rear. Perfect now for the tight twisty rough asphalt in our mountain passes. Ideal setup having an enduro style bike with street/track rubber.

Default manual help

thanks Graham and Joel for the manual support. Even though I have 06 US carb models, info is similar and useful.
The camshaft chain tensioner removal and reinstallation section in "engine top end" section
5-15, 5-16 is the same info and method as in an older 09 carbed service manual that lives here on the site somewhere.

Thanks, but haven't these things been a Sticky here in the forums since March '12?

https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...manuals-37525/

Or Am I missing something here?

EDIT: Yup, I am. This thread goes back to Feb '12.

It probable makes no difference & i'm only splitting hairs but the EFi manual I posted is the 6th Edition (0) Jun. 3,2011. from my own dropbox account.

The sticky manual posted on this forum is 4th Edition (0) Jun. 23,2010.
