Is there a K&N for our bike yet? Would really like it with the Outerwears setup !

 

My mechanic and the parts guy at the same place said that the K&N filter actually doesn't filter out the really small stuff. It's a trade off between getting more air in and keeping the stuff out of the engine. I have the K&N filter in my 99 Dodge Diesel, and the guy at the shop where I got it from said that the dirtier it gets the better, so I don't really know what to think.[&:]

 

yea i herd they are not the best either, so i got the uni air filter... k&n filter is like $50 and the uni was like $25, so the decision was easy for me.

 

I ordered a K&N but it was backordered forever so I just got a UNI. My K&N eventually did arrive but I haven't tried it out yet. It's not handy at the moment so I can't check the part number but I think it was a KA-1287, but don't quote me on that. It's the one that fits the KLX300.
