Just converted my s to a sf
so as the title states just converted to the sf wheels
I noticed the rear sprocket is the same as my s wheel I think it said 42 anyways from searching the stock sf sprocket is a 39 now the local shop I order from have them for $50 is that a decent price, or is there online sellers for less money I am using a 15 counter sprocket that was to help lower the freeway rpm's which it did work good at Im sure my freeway top speed will be reduced some with this gearing and smaller tire, just not sure how much I did have a max gps of 86 mph before if its not raining tomorrow im going to test before buying anything I guess if you figure going up one size in front is the same as going 3 smaller in the rear then my gearing may be the same as stock sf gearing and is the kickstand different on the sf mine works, but is not angled much, which acutally works out good as it give me more parking space in my garage just makes it a little hard for me to get off the bike because its up so straight when sitting on it now I could cut mine, weld the foot up higher but was just wondering if the sf used a shorter kickstand it was raining too much to ride it , but I did get it around the block a couple times I could tell it turns sharper or faster got my drd speedo healer programmed to read correctly too |

With shipping you would probably be over $40 so it's not going to be much of a difference. |
My SF kickstand measures in right at 1 foot.

Also ordered this tail bag
to replace my larger carrier want to change up the looks of the bike a little plus I can still always attach the larger carrier when needed and have good room with the smaller bag http://www.pmracks.com/img/KLX250S168.JPG |

so as I thought I lost about 4 mph top speed on a quick test
and higher rpm on the freeway because basically im back to the stock gear ratio So once the new sprocket comes in I should be back to my normal rpm I grew used to get a little more out of the bike before shifting, I noticed I hit the limiter alot now nothing strange on how it handles, I like it and I like how its a little lower too, since im used to riding small scooters too bad they didnt have this model at the store when I bought my bike probably would of got it Plus I like the fact I can swap out the wheels easily |
