Ohhhh, Fontal! Yes, I know of the area. I plead the 5th however on having ridden there as it's all now gated and signed, which is also why nobody is ever around. There's no longer any legal (not that it technically was ever legal being mostly private timber company property...) 4x4 or bike trails in the area.

Just don't get caught.

In I think 2007 or 08 I was living at Lake Joy and during a bad flood that totally isolated most of the Snoqualmie valley I was able to get home through that area. That was the last time I've ever seen the gates open...
