I have a few questions for those of you, with 09 or newer bikes, that use this site.

1) What oversized tank do you (or would you) use on your 09 or newer bike?

2) If I could guarantee that I could make it fit right and look as though the tank were made for your bike, what would it be worth to you for my service?

3) Who out there that is close to Portland, OR would be willing to be the guinea pig for my solution to our problem with the oversized tank? ***I would do it myself on my own bike, but I am currently unemployed and cannot afford to purchase a tank for myself.***

i use the acerbis for the 06-07, fits, just not like a glove.

 

Thank you. That is the tank I plan on using also. Did you put the fuel pump on your bike to get all of the gas out of the shrouds?

 

not yet, but i have seen it drain almost all of the gas twice. kept forgetting i was on reserve and had to fill it up with 3.65 gallons, and thats about bone dry.

 

Not a fan of the funky fat shrouds. Plus thats where I mounted the HID ballast.
