Well I finally did it I went out and purchased a motorcycle. I know I should not tell you which brand I got since it is not a Kawasaki but a Suzuki Dr Z 400. Can you forgive me But you are good friends

 

It's ok as long as deep down inside you wished you had got the klx, because you know you do. j/k congrats on the new bike.

 

shoulda got the klx400. it's the same bike just green.

 

Hey Michael, nice bike you got there. I knew you were having a tough time choosing, and don't worry, you can ask general questions on here anytime, or ride by the house and I'll help you any way I can. I know where you live, so I might have to come down on Sunday afternoon and take a look. Oh and they got the red KLX at the bike shop this week, and my buddy is looking at it, but now he's thinking he might go with the Yamaha WR 250X Oh well, I am painting all day tomorrow inside the house, but I might ride down Sunday afternoon. I can. I have one too. What color did you get? My wife has a KLX250S. They only made the dual sport version of the KLX400SR for 1 year in 2003. It is the same as the 2003 DRZ400S.

The house projects will stop when you move out of the house. But on the flip side you are at least putting sweat equatity in the house hopefully making a nice profit if You DO move. Had the bike out this morning and put 6 miles on it already. Hope to see you on mid Sun Afternoon.

Well I just got back from Michael's house, and even though its not a KLX I really appreciated his excitement for the new bike. Here are a couple of pics, and you know what the cool thing about this site is, that no matter what you ride, everyone here respects each other. So anyway here are the first pics of the new DRZ 400. Congrats Michael, we'll get out on the trail soon.

Michael looks like a big boy...he probably made a wise choice getting the drz. I bet it seems as light to him as my klx does to me.
