HMM..could I fit a TRX 450R motor..
 

Rode my buddies 06 Honda TRX 450R for the first time yesterday..that thing is scarey fast. It has aftermarket cams, Yoshimura exhaust, smaller counter sprocket, etc = massive low/mid range power. Pulls roll on wheelies in every gear. If I can sneak it out of his ATV..maybe I could squeeze it into my little green machine.. [sm=badbadbad.gif]

they are fun that's for sure.the 450 is the sweet spot because it's what is mostly used in competition so it gets the most engineering and aftermarket goodies.

With enough time on a cam grinding machine, some dyno work and countless hours, I'm sure we can make the little motor in the KLX250s have enough power to almost satisfy everyone.

Of course, the powerband would be narrowed, the street manners would suffer and quite possibly the longevity of the engine would be compromised.

Nah, I'd rather have mine dependable!

I ride with a guy that has an 03 CRF 450 and that thing is insane fast! but I will stick with the little KLX and with some mods she will be good to go![sm=smiley20.gif]

yeah, i was wondering if a kx500 engine would fit!! that would be sick!!
