Default Highest gear to hit rev limiter?

K... Since I've been bumping off of my rev limiter more lately.. what's the highest gear you've managed to hit the rev limiter on your KLX? 4th gear is mine, laying down on the tank with a tailwind 5th or 6th, don't even think about it...

For me, I think only hit the limiter in 1st and 2nd. Usually don't wrap it up that far unless on a big hill climb (hit it a few times yesterday ).

I haven't found it necessary to bump it to go fast.

Same here, though I didn't really get into the rev limiter, but virtually there. Reeeeally strong tail wind, 6th gear, indicated 100-101 mph.

6th gear. 14-48 gearing, laying down on the tank with my legs on the rear rack, passing traffic. Speedometer reading about 86-87.

i'm just glad to know that these bikes have a rev limiter...uphills on freeways...i sometimes worry and check the rpm from time to time....
