high milage klx's
 

anyone know of any that have gone over 40k miles, 50k ?

Somebody over at TT had high mileage like that on their KLX. I'm sure if you maintained it and never ragged on it, you could do it. THen just do a rebuild and go another 40K.

I'm gettin there....currently at 347 miles....

I'm sitting at about 10,000 HARD mostly trail miles

I'm closing in on 12000, lots of roads, but lots of hard trails, too.

Have you had any problems?

had to get rid of the kick stand switch (water shorted it out) almost right away
I did a hare scramble in Mount St Helens ASH (at least part of the race) wrecked chain, rear sprocket, wheel bearings. I don't change the oil near what anyone else on KF does and if Deej knew the truth to my cleaning and lubing sch'd he would faint!

other than plastics and tires from riding hard it has held up great! now I gotta start saving again for 351 and shocks again:(......Santa stole it from me:eek::D but it went to a good cause.

Currently collecting dust at 7,xxx miles. I have not ridden within a few weeks. But oddly enough, I have been bicycling in the freezing cold.

cycling will keep you warm! Wish I had a good route to go to work.
I would break out the old Cannondale!
