Default High beam

Well after almost 9000 miles and 3 days left before I leave on my Canada trip, my high beam decided to burn out. The only reason I caught it is that lately while riding I have got in the habit of putting my hand in front to see the light on my glove. Yesterday I was heading out of town and stuck my hand in front and nothing. O well 99.9% of my riding is in the daytime and I always ride with the high beams on, so I guess 9000 miles is pretty good. I was worried that the lamp was some sort of weird round old school bulb that had to be ordered from the dealer, but I was happily surprised that it was a common halogen lamp. Easy to change and now I'm sitting in butter.........well not literally, but you know. I wonder what it would be like to actually sit in butter?......oh well I'll tackle that another day.

so what bulb are you getting?
This was the perfect time for that thing to go out.
A couple of days later and there would be no fixing it.... just making due without.

Standard H4? I must have missed that memo while I was out shopping for an HID =). Holy freaking bright light and it draws around 2 amps less so I can get those heated grips this winter.
