took my rear spring asembly apart and i cant get the spring off the shock... whats the trick? im in my drive way trying to figure this out and i have no idea.... do i have to "spin" it off and get the coil around the bottom ring, theres a small 1inch opening in the bottom "washer" that holds the spring in place

 

never mind got it... i'll post pictures tonight.

Loosen the adjusters until that borrom clip falls off as I'm sure you found out.

 

yeah there was all kinds of head scratchin going on for a while hehehe, i even tride to spread the spring end and thread it thru... finally it fell off and i then realized that the shock was smarter then I.
my brother was takin the pics and i forgot to grab his memory card before he left, i'll get it tomorrow and see what i got for pics, i greased my swing arm needle bearings too! nobreaks had the killer write up to walk me thru, the only thing i didnt have was the ft-lb for the swing arm pivot bolt. anyone have the specs for that?

 

T3: 88 N-m (65 ft-lb)
