Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum (second post) and new to Kawasakis. My son has outgrown his XR50 so I found this bike on CL. I looked at the bike in person and thought it was a KLX125. The guy told me it was a 2000 but I didn't think Kaw made those in 2000. After researching a little more, I noticed that all the KLX125s I saw had drum brakes on the front. This one has disc in front/drum in back. Also the swingarm does have a KLX125 sticker. The front rim is aluminum while the back is chrome. It could be possible that someone changed out the front end. Just want to know if it is pieced together or even if these guys know what they have. Sorry, I dont have the VIN.

I'll bet Thumpertalk will have some more specific info on this bike under the KLX forum. I see lots of 125 and 140 discussions there.
