Default Helmet cam from yesterday's ride

Here's the helmet cam from yesterday's ride.

http://www.vimeo.com/2955685

The guy on the KDX200 is about 10 years older than me but is a lot more experienced of a rider, he can motor pretty good. That's the same KDX I rode a month or so back. It's definitely a sweet bike, with some get up and go, and very light feeling in the tight stuff. I think he was trying to lose me ... didn't work though. Except when I blew a few corners, but he tricked me, I don't know the trails as well as he does.

Note at 1:20 minutes in I take a stick like a joust into my left radiator. The Bullet Proof Designs rad guard just paid for itself - the radiator is unscathed and I was able to ride away like nothing happened. If I didn't have guards, I'm afraid that would have gone straight through and not only ruined my day of riding, but also cost me a pretty penny to get a replacement.

Definitely a fun day of riding. The new suspension worked great.

Nice video. Your right, your rad gaurds just paid for themselves, and then some. That would have ended your day.

Thanks Brian, watching your helmet cam rides is the next best thing to being there. And for some that can't ride right now because of snow or other reasons, its a double edge sword. They get to see how much fun you're having and it reminds them how much fun they are not having. Haha

Disclaimer: Hang in there guys, better riding weather will eventually be here.

Yeah, chalk one up for radiator guards.

I took out the cheezy slow motion as I was entering the tight twisty stuff, though, and re-uploaded. I think it flows better without it. That's just after I blew that corner and 2-stroke dude was getting away. But I reeled him back in by the time we exited the twisty tight stuff - not too bad considering the bike I was on and the bike he was on. By the time we left that stuff, I was on his rear wheel. That'll get the ol' heart pumping.
