Default Helmet Cam - Uwharrie OHV from this weekend

This time after a rain, so it was pretty slick in spots, the wet slippery clay is like ice. One place I went down about mid-way through the vid both wheels just slipped right out from under me, happened like in slow motion, nothing I could do. The ride was pretty fun anyway, though. Main problem was that I did not get my stator connector seated well and it pulled loose before the ride even started and my battery quickly drained and I had no e-start. If I had known the problem was that simple, I would have pulled the tank and fixed it on the trail, but I was thinking the regulator went bad or something. At least it has a kick starter, but I appreciate e-start so much more now.

Wow, I can't believe how clear that video is. Thanks for letting us see what you have been up to. And +1 on electric start, we older guys really like having that. Yes I included you in the older category. hehehehe

Just give us some warning first, so we can hide the women and children.

It's def a fun place - sucks when it is wet, though, too slick, so hope the weather cooperates. There are several campgrounds nearby, and you can also camp anywhere along the trails too, that might be fun. It's good for a decent day of riding, but after that, you start repeating the same stuff over again. There's not that much total mileage, but you can't really go that fast due to all the water bars. But they are fun in their own right, you can get some pretty good air off some of them. This past weekend was the last weekend of the year it was open, it closed down Dec 15 and won't reopen again until April.

If you guys make it down, be sure and let me know.

Looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I wish I had more trails and tracks located closer to home.
