What headpipe are you guys using on the 250??? I have an FMF powercore IV for the 300 but havn't exactly tried to fit it yet but i was going to today....but i see every one is using the larger headpipe...which i'm pretty sure i need as just by eyeballing it the fmf is much larger than the OEM 250 headpipe.If that's the case will a stock klx300 head pipe be sufficient or do you guys recommend an aftermarket one from someone else?Just checking.also what airfilter is everyone using? I was going to install a twinair that i had for my last klx300 but just looking for some other tips y'all might have up your sleeve.

 

Nevermind I got one from FSW....I finally found their website and i ordered it.......along with the brake line guard for the front caliper......at least this bike is cheaper than my atv ...........way cheaper.......

 

Are they still at the same website. A few months back there server was shut down. No one was sure if they closed up shop, or just let there server expire and didn't realize it.

The pipe arrived today and i can say all good things so far...even before it's installed...looks to be of very,very high quality construction.The mount flange is a nice stainless steel with their company logo embossed into it (not that anyone will see with all the mud on it but a nice touch none the less).I also recieved a small handwritten note as to the anti-vibration shims to be put on the OEM heat shield where it mounts to the pipe......some nice touches by them.I like the fact that even if they were maybe out of the printed instructions Valerie took the time to make a note of the simple and easily overlooked items for the installation...not that i'd have a problem but indeed a very nice touch.....they will definatley be getting more business from me in the future...and i will recomend them to others with confidence.
